Inclusive Future Leaders: a journey of growth, courage, and leadership

Inclusive Future Leaders was an international youth exchange project funded by European Union that brought together young people from Turkey, Romania, Spain, Poland, and Lithuania to learn about leadership, collaboration, and inclusion. This project was more than just exchange – it was a week of courage, growth, and new discoveries!  Below, participants share their experiences, impressions, and the most valuable lessons they took home! I really miss the days we all stayed together. It's a very precious experience for me and I want to live it more. About my participation in the project i am really glad of myself and everybody. I was more social then the normal time when i was there. When i return home i realized lots of things. One of them was i want to do it again and I'll miss my friends so much. I realized like i grown up here and developed myself. I learned a lot. About friendship, leadership, other countries cultures and languages. Furthermore i also improved my Englis...

Step by step participation

Here’s what I’ve learned during the Step by Step training course about youth participation: I learned how different events for the youth can be organized. Like what to keep in mind, how to manage without a (big) budget and how to keep the youth interested. I also learned new games and techniques to either get to know the group better or how to energize it. One of my favorites were fruit salad with chairs. I learned about how to boost youth participation / activate youngsters to participate. That can be done for example by just simple offering the youngsters the kind of activities they want to do themselves. Aka by listening the youngsters. I also learned about youth participation situations and challenges in different European countries. This was interesting and eye-opening. I learned about different kinds of youth centers. Like what they can offer, how much they can be open and who the workers can be (volunteers, youth workers and so on). I think the 8-step ladder about levels of yout...
